About

The EX-CHANGE exhibition and publication celebrates student work from first-year through Ph.D. at CMU’s School of Architecture. From 2019–2023, I contributed design, curatorial, and technical expertise to support the initiative. Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown, we transformed the constraints of remote interaction into an opportunity for innovation and play.

Inspired by CMU’s vibrant culture, the virtual exhibition abstracted campus environments into a dynamic online gallery, seamlessly merging physical and digital spaces. The playful, interactive design brought student projects to life, creating a platform that enhanced exploration, engagement, and storytelling.

As assistant curator and experience coordinator, I led efforts to craft this virtual extension of the annual publication, designing connected experiences that integrated narrative, digital interaction, and visual design. The project not only addressed pandemic-era restrictions but also redefined how architectural work could be exhibited and experienced online.
