About

The EX-CHANGE exhibition and publication celebrates student work from first-year through Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Architecture. From 2019 to 2023, I contributed design, curatorial, and technical expertise to support the initiative.

Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown, this exhibition transformed the constraints of remote interaction into an opportunity for innovation and play.

Inspired by the vibrant culture of CMU, the virtual exhibition abstracted campus environments into a dynamic gallery, seamlessly merging the physical with the digital. The playful design brought the showcased projects to life, providing a unique platform for exploration and engagement.

As the assistant curator and coordinator of the experience, I led efforts to craft a virtual extension of the beloved annual publication. This online gallery offered an immersive experience, reimagining how we interact with academic and creative work. It became not only a solution to pandemic-era restrictions but also a redefinition of what an architectural exhibition could be.

Explore the 2020 EX-CHANGE to see how creativity thrives, even in challenging times.
