About
The Purple Pedal is an affordable, accessible tool for experimental musicians. In lieu of expensive and redundant guitar or instrument effect pedals, this project allows users to assemble, program, and reprogram their own unique music effects device.
To share The Purple Pedal, we taught workshops at venues like Hackaday Supercon, NYC Resistor, Coney Island Makerfaire, Open Hardware Summit, FSCK, and more. Each session empowers attendees to build their pedals while learning about electronics, coding, and sound design.
